What Unayo offers in Zimbabwe
Unayo is Standard Bank’s global digital platform that connects people, businesses, and communities.
All you need to do is download the Unayo app on your smartphone, or sign up with USSD, create your profile and you’re ready to go!
Unayo means ‘You have it’, and once you have Unayo, you can use it anywhere.
Unayo has been designed to balance ease of use with a wide variety of features that offer you access to a full spectrum of convenient and affordable banking services from wherever you are.
Locate branches in your community. The branches can assist you with transactions, such as cash in and cash outs.
Make use of free transactions to send money to friends and family. Pay for goods and services using your UNAYO account and your personal QR code.
You can access UNAYO via the smart app, assisted services mode, USSD or internet banking (coming soon!)
UNAYO is available for iOS, Android and Huawei. Simply go to your app store and download the latest version. You will be able to select your country and language and start your onboarding journey. It will also be your portal for all UNAYO’s services.
This is a new feature from UNAYO. Assisted services mode is available on your UNAYO smart app. It allows your friends and family to access their UNAYO accounts, apply for, or upgrade their Lite accounts, apply to become a merchant or open a business account, without having their own smart phone. None of their information is stored on your device, and they don’t have access to your accounts.
- UNAYO is available on USSD. Please visit your country page for your short code.
- If you have signed up on the smart app or assisted services mode, you will still be able to access your accounts on USSD.
- Internet banking is live.
- You will be able to use the interface to perform a number of the same transactions as the smart app for personal and business accounts.

- You can sign up for a lite or pro account by digitally providing your personal information.
- This process is done digitally through the smart app or USSD channel.
- Your information is reviewed by the UNAYO team and after that, you will get your account.
- If you start off with a Lite account, you can upgrade it to a Pro account using the smart app or assisted services mode.
- A Pro account will give you access to more features (such as to open a business account), as well as higher limits.
- Once you have a Pro account, you can open a business account by providing some additional information about your business.
- This process is done digitally through the smart app or assisted services mode.
- Your information is reviewed by the UNAYO team and after that, you will get your account.
- You can apply to become a merchant on your business account, and you will have access to higher limits on your account.

- To locate your nearest service provider, please open the smart app and select the "locate services" icon on the bottom left of your screen. You can search for the nearest service provider by name or their distance from you. Once you have selected a merchant or ATM, your onboard navigation app (like Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps) will open and direct you to that location.

You can complete the entire registration process for personal and business accounts online, so you don’t even have to visit a branch!
You will be able to sign up for a personal account. After that, open a business account or apply to become a merchant.
